On discord they replied that this IS A DESIGN choice.
We are not running around with LED flash lights, they're simple bulb headlamps.
As for NV, its probably going to happen eventually, but even then its pointless.
It's not meant to be a hand holding game by any means.
I've played stalker since day 1.. I know, well aware.
But NV isn't needed.
The night is PERFECT even on full HDR or without.
Its not supposed to be a bright moonlit night all the time.
And we're not even talking about ammunition here but since you brought it up.. I've taken out far more NPC's with SMG's in the OG games vs rifles.. nothings changed there bud.
And in that mod, if you had some sort of mask you actually had a mask, with the attendant view restrictions, grime on your view until you could clean the lens, and labored breathing effects. That's the sort of stuff I want in Stalker 2.
Sounds more like Metro game you really want.
