Are we getting better flashlight and night vision, has the developer heard the feedback? are they listening?. Can someone provide a status update?.

On discord they replied that this IS A DESIGN choice.

We are not running around with LED flash lights, they're simple bulb headlamps.

As for NV, its probably going to happen eventually, but even then its pointless.

It's not meant to be a hand holding game by any means.

It's literally part of the Whole Stalker Franchise, Previous stalker Games had night vision and better guns ngl, the fact a buket smg does better and has more pen than rifles is craazy

Never used it in previous games personally. Only realised it was a thing very late game when I accidentally fat fingered the N key lol

yeah i too but in this game locations are very dark and low iluminated - at night in open field without NV is very hard

It gives the nights mystery, an unknown factor. It's psychological and the effect is good. Night vision just wipes that away. Better without it in my view.

I've played stalker since day 1.. I know, well aware.

But NV isn't needed.

The night is PERFECT even on full HDR or without.

Its not supposed to be a bright moonlit night all the time.

And we're not even talking about ammunition here but since you brought it up.. I've taken out far more NPC's with SMG's in the OG games vs rifles.. nothings changed there bud.

Or maybe do it like Misery did, require power from an exhaustible source, like batteries.

And in that mod, if you had some sort of mask you actually had a mask, with the attendant view restrictions, grime on your view until you could clean the lens, and labored breathing effects. That's the sort of stuff I want in Stalker 2.

Sounds more like Metro game you really want.

Got those already. Good games, but point still stands.
