I spent 115h just restarting the game.
It doesnt have 25 optics for each weapon like CoD kiddies would like(from which only 1 would be used for META weapins anyway?)
The game had crashed 10x per 100h instead of all the BF/CoD games crashing 10x per day.
The loot is so scarse that I found only 3mint condition guns/armour and 1 leg named gun in 1 run.
The houses are so empty that I spent 1h to cleat 1 factory with "puzzles".
There are no missions etc...
No crashes, only memleaks in certain situations (doing a lot of shopping / selling) which can be solved by restarting the game. Devs are on the case and have already adressed some of those in the previous patches.
Don't use 3rd party item mods if you want to avoid savegame losses, then you're good. (never had any of those).
Playing as Stalker...
I have played nearly 20h without any saves being deleted. I have had one crash that was before I could think to save, as soon as I entered Garbage from the Lesser Zone below. I loaded up a previous save and have been fine.
I did have a loaf of bread that was the first "jacket" I found and wore until people started dropping equipment. I sent this in to the dev's, this was found in 1.0.2 though.
I have had a reasonable experience, however, when there are multiple (8+) bad guys (the Ward) in the area, the graphics for the characters get a bit dicey. Their "sprite" or "model" can freeze in weird formations almost like they are gingerbread men. But eventually it is playable.
I am running Epic or High on graphics with a RTX3080 and AMD Ryzen 9 5900 processor on my Lenovo Legion.
Not the best experience with graphics, sometimes it is pretty bad but only if there are Looots of enemies in the area. Unreal Engine 5 definitely pushes the boundaries but the game does what it can, it seems, for the most part to save you from crashing out.. however, I do have a fairly nice setup so YMMV.
I remember that loaf of bread jacket I sold it to a trader and it bugged them out and gave me unlimited money lol
