Best armour and best assault rifle in this game suggest me . Now i'm playing with Gp37 and akm armour PSZ-91 Falcon just got this lovely armour ..

When patch 1.0.4 coming before 25 Dec 2024 or next year 2025

I swap around a lot. Like I conjure up 'patrols' where I head out just to see what I can stir up, going as light as I can. That's a lightened Trophy, Skif's pistol and Tourist Suit. This loadout is like 20kg.

I have a lot of gear (as many do I'm sure) and I spend a lot upgrading various suits and weapons. I like to use them all as much as I can so I mix it up just about every time I head out. Tourist one time, Seva-I next, Falcon the next and so on it goes.

almost the same combo I used accept I stuck with the AK you get with the water tower mission from Zalyssa base

It is possible to get all of these within 2 days game time, which is mid game if you took your sweet time exploring everything. For Diamond Exo you need to get creative if you don't want to glitch into Pripyat, hence later in the endgame you get to have 2 of those.
Falcon in mid-late game but luckily not in endgame coz that armor is next best thing after exos.
No, none of these are from Journalist stashes. I won't spoil it for you buit if you do, check a few YT vids on it.

I like how the nastier mutants demand a varied loadout - in OG Stalker you could get away with one gun for all tasks, which left little need for experimentation.

I nominate the Saiga as best shotgun in any game ever, btw. Emptying that thing in an explosive two second burst never gets old.

I finished the game yesterday (and i'm crying for the new patch that seems to correct weird water not spawning, i never got it and it would have been a godsend T_T)... However, i used for all the lategame the diamond exo, saiga and Whip. That weapon is fantastic, can shoot like an assault rifle if you are in a pinch, can headshot pretty much anything and has almost zero recoil. I don't think i could have won some last missions fights without it. Regarding Saiga, it trivializes almost any mutant fights, except Pseudogiants and Chimeras which i avoided every time i could because they are worthless, a waste of amno for nothing.

Weird water doesn't always spawn in the same spot. It can spawn in atleast two or three different locations but often on the large stones.
If it doesn't spawn, you can quick load and try again.

Personally i love Riemann - this one is a real Beast (got all upgrades and scope on it).
Second place is Saiga D12 - Imho best shotgun.
Third place is Skif pistol - cheap, plain, accurate, best for small targets and close combat headshots.

riemann is very good, only problem is that its scope is lacking when you start going up against large groups of heavily armed guys. clustercluck is what I tend to run. same penetration as riemann, ammo is fairly plentiful,good damage, large magazine with the upgrade and can do headshots. silenced too as well.

but for 80/100 hrs of the game i was using good old lummox ak74. works very well.

saiga is very very good, although i would not feel too underpowered with the cracker (if its got the mag upgrade). mag upgrade cracker is basically same as saiga but slower firing.

yeah skif pistol is very accurate and decent mag size with upgrade, silent and high damage. who doesn't like the makaro! i own 2 IRL and they are terrific pistols. the other pistols just don't offer very much in terms of advantages. if the apsb had a single fire mode i would take it, but it can ONLY do burst.
