Information on Multiplayer?

Is there any information, when to expect the Multiplayer?
Like Q3 2025 or something like that?
If so, is it possible to get the Source for that?

All i've found out was it'll come "soon", that's a bit vague for my taste

I also wonder, what kind of Multiplayer shall it become? A Coop Opt-In Multiplayer or an PvP Multiplayer that's Opt out (Opt-in Coop would be my Fav, i don't like playing with randoms)

Latest info I could find was from a moderator here, Kastrenzo, unsure if they work for GSC.. I'm assuming not. Since that thread is locked I had to manually quote them. The Discord might have more up to date answers, idk as I refuse to use Discord.

Until / Unless further details are released, expect it to be little more than a tacked on PVP session mode like the old games. Example linked above.

It was kind of like Counter Strike, except you could respawn. As you gained points you'd advance in level (for that session) and have access to better gear. but there weren't ranks or progression or anything like that. every time you'd join a new game, you'd start from the bottom

there were a couple of game modes, some involving hunting artefacts while fighting

Stalker is in many ways a relic of game design, from the days of when people were happy with a singleplayer shooter experience. It isn't and never was intended to be a multiplayer game, it was something they added on for fun to add a little more feature to the game, but thats it.

I could be wrong, but thats the limit of my expectation right now

who cares? If its as broken as the rest of the game, maybe its better that it doesn't come out.

It's not what i asked for, and i didn't ask for an opinion.
And on top of that, that game works fine w/o Issues for me so far.

And yeah, i don't join Discords as well.
