Real S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 success and new long-live game like Fallout/The Elder Scrolls/The Witcher 3

I have look at Indiana Jones and The Great Circle active players in first day - 10000-12000 players.

I have seen 120000 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 players at Steam at release and 41000 at the moment.

Both games are PC/Xbox exclusives and available in Game Pass. And GSC game is really successful.

I glad for S2:HoC success and it's GOTY for me. I really hope it will be a long-life project with a few years support from developers with a new content. It's new The Elder Scrolls/Fallout/The Witcher 3.

I'm glad too...Indiana Jones looks really good but I enjoy ambitious titles more...even if they're a little janky

They are both good games. One is a on rails adventure while the other is open world, which the later always has more jank.

Stalker 2 can not be GOTY by any measure of quality standard. The game released in shameful technical and quality assurance state. The game was, and still is, so buggy you are very likely not to be able to finish it as main quest lines tend to break at random. Even if you manage to finish the game, your experience will be severely diminished due to all the bugs, cut corners and unfinished or missing features.

Stalker 2 absolutely has potential to be a great game. I also hope it will be a long term success and GSC sticks with the game. I bought Ultimate edition so I have vested interest in GSC finishing the game and delivery what I hope will be great story DLCs.

With all of the above, Stalker 2 barely reaches for ankles of giants like The Witcher 3.

The only rewards Stalker 2 deserves this year is "Most hyped game of 2024 that failed to live to the hype" and maybe "Most elaborate lies & deceit by a game studio in 2024."

Iv had people tell me that my opinion that Stalker 2 is a great game is wrong... Yes, im mistaken about having more fun with it than any game since Skyrim... GTFO with that BS, I voted S2 as GOTY because it is the best game iv played this year by far, im not sure whats so hard to understand about that.

I finished the game a couple weeks ago with no game breaking bugs?
I even started a second playthrough and still haven't encountered anything stopping me from doing the main story.
The absolute worst I've had was two side quests being undoable (This is fixed now), and other than that and A-Life everything really functions as intended.
For me Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is easily my Game of the Year, and I'll definitely play it more than I have Call of Prypiat or Call of Chornobyl/Anomaly
