Faust Fight - Spoiler
There, I said there were spoilers.

This fight is some serious ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that clearly was not playtested. Half the time my heals don't work, and my multiple artifacts that stop bleeding suddenly don't, Faust teleports around the roof while his clones seem to spawn 3+ on top of each other behind my position to 1-shot me as he does his stupid stunlock attack (which yes, I'm using Psi-armor and Psi-block).

This fight is severely broken, as half the time his weak point doesn't take damage (I'm assuming when he 'staggers', which I'm not sure why enemies are suddenly invulnerable while staggered).

I love this game, but there are some serious issues. This is the definition of arbitrary difficulty, as the only people that say "i had no problem with this fight, what's the issue?" seem to have lucked their way through it.

Shoot the bright glowing lanterns until they break. You're doing it wrong if he still has clones up. It's not about luck, just situational awareness.

Keep trying. Or don't.

Three around the fight and one on his hip. Shoot those first.

Faust will always have clones until the very end since he has one emitter on his waist/belt. You will significantly reduce number and frequency of clones when you destroy 3 emitters placed around the rooftops.

I find clone fights annoying. God of War rings a sore memory on God Mode.

But the emitters on the roof, take those out. Also some people might forget the one that is in the building. I usually take that one out as well for good measure.

My first run through with Faust I was dropping rounds into Faust and going why isn't he dying. When I notice his lamp was turning orange and red I was like okay. Just shoot at his right hip. I use my shotgun to deal heavy damage.

This fight was tanking my fps. Too many clones and particle effects etc going on. Felt like a career to heal from being shot by his clones.

Yep it need to be changed. It's not logical, it's not fun, it's not satisfying and it's still bugged.
FPS go down, making aiming almost impossible, if you are overecumbered you're dying fast to crossfire from all the clones. If you destroy 3 lamps, clones sometimes spawn and sometimes don't. Faust can use grab through wooden boxes, his shield is just absurd, tanking more shots than chimera and of course he can throw grenades
And now the most annoying parts you cannot save just before fight, just because, but sometimes it save during fight. And if you leave some items in rooms just before fight, well ♥♥♥♥ you, there are cut off and you cannot enter them again. FFFFFFFFU.
And all that after huge fight with bazilion monolith soldiers so all your items are worn out.

i learned pretty quick to destroy any lanterns you find while out in the world to reduce its psi radiation effects. my only gripe was that by the time i reached Faust, my weapons were degraded to less than 50% even after repairing them before starting this quest chain. with the AP ammo that you need to use to take down the monolith soldiers, it chews through your weapon durability. you either shoot ammo that degrades your weapon faster or you shoot 4x amount of regular ammo. kinda damned either way.

by the end, my primary was red and secondary was yellow. jam jam jam. i started nade spamming him.

Skill issue. Shoot the 3 lanterns, then the one on his waist, then some for him. Done. Go in with your weight in the green zone so you can move fast. Ignore the clones and concentrate on the lanterns. Use the Saiga-12 shotgun.
It's not a skill issue, bro. The fight is just badly designed because you have a long boss fight after literally destroying your weapons. I'm too busy dying because my weapon jams ever 3rd round fired (I'm exaggerating some), and the animation stupidly takes forever to clear.
Use the grenade launcher when he have the light on is belt, I use two and It work.
Just a few days ago on Veteran on the battle I used the Saiga on the three lanterns, then Faust, and got his carry-lantern damaged, then he ran away while I was reloading. I threw a few grenades his way and then the cutscene kicked in.

The only fight so far I didn't like. Who ever said the clones vanish they don't. You can kill them they just come back. I take out the PSI beacons as fast as I can, then finish him off.

i was in a gun fight for like an hour with the clones will i realized i had to shoot the towers first lol
Having shot out the 3 lanterns, get to cover and then spam a few nades at Faust from distance- then the fight is DONE- don't need to wreck your guns. Its not nearly as tough as it seems at first.
