The complaints are clearly made out of passion for the game and a desire for improvement.
If you're happy with the game as is, then stop commenting. Don't spread your misery at seeing negative comments on to others, right?
Toxic positivity is something that is contributing to the ruination of gaming.
All of the above are very valid complaints. People often vent on steam forums. It's normal.
Shutting people down for raising issues is not. Grow up and kindly knock it off.
People paid up to 110 euro for a digital only copy of this game. With multiples more than that for the collections editions.
They are entitled to a game that isn't broken and unbalanced.
The developers didn't do them a favour. They sold them a broken and unfinished product.
Stop telling people to grow up. The most immature take is to act like a whiney ♥♥♥♥♥ with a purpose. Its teenager ♥♥♥♥. Yea let's change the world instead of your attitude...84% on steam...you're not going to win
If you actually read the OP you'd see most of it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...some of it incoherent, and the points OP did make, the devs openly said they are working on...
1. You cannot end up unarmed because you just really wanted to reload in combat. If you draw a weapon its always the one you picked instead of whichever you last used in a completely different engagement.
2. You can do it while running. Sprinting also resets the animation, allowing you to avoid being animation-locked. This may be an oversight but still saved my life a few times.
3. I mean... bit of immersion-breaking but this isn't Assassins Creed (thankfully).
4. Not my experience but that may or may not be stash or random-spawn specific. Some definitely seem to have scripted attacks (if you see a load of bodies, Zombies are probably going to spawn...)
5. Thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and should be adjusted. Especially indoors.
6. It appears to have a very low durability-treshold thats potentially bugged.
7/8/9. Are balance concerns. You can get better prices if you do quests for the trader or their settlement but enemies not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all over you with gear and ammo is to not break the economy. And yes, the economy isn't broken in my experience. Its harsh but 100% manageable. General rule: Ammo is worth more per weight than low-level guns.
10. So you end up with actually somewhat tough fights that aren't just "apply tactic to deal with enemy Y or X" ad nauseum. Also, sometimes you can even get those enemies to fight each other.
11. Can't tell what you mean here.
12. Emissions and shelters are in need for more consistency, 100%.
1. I'm not sure why the key matters. You can holster your weapon using H.
2. Balance.
3. Maybe an oversight. Have yet to find a place where it would block progress.
4. Haven't experienced this more than 1/10 times at max at almost 100 hours.
5. This is annoying, hoping it will get fixed.
6. Would be nice to have it show up on all guns, not just those with 0 durability.
7. Balance.
8. Balance.
9. I'd say the prices are good, at least on Veteran. Maybe it is too easy on other difficulties. And you can raise your reputation.
10. ?
11. ?
12. Emission shelters need a bit of work, yes.
2 - Can you? half of you nerds cant run in a straight line, let alone sprint. Imagine me telling you to do complex things while sprinting. (-_-)
3 - Every game has that..... literally.
4 - It makes sense that stashed are protected. Dont you think?
5 - Flaw in the AI, as of now. Done by many games. Two of these are FarCry and Fallout.
6 - Its a red SHIELD, and i believe that states a weapon state below 10%, if not, it doesnt matter, 8/10 guns will be red anyway.
7 - To prevent a player rising to power to fast, the biggest flaw in your precious GAMMA and anomaly tarkov sim.
8 - Its to much already, learn to use single fire. You will have over 1000 bullets on your stash in 5h. Skill issue.
9 - Prices are to good, i was rolling around 200k and just out of "Lesser zone" on veteran. AND you do raise rep with medics, repairman and traders. (resulting in 2/3 price cut in most cases, when the icons turn green)
10 - Since EVERYONE in the zone is an enemy, Its only logical that two type of mutants show up while you fight humans.
11 - By the looks of it, you are just slow. Own it.
12 - Design choice, if you havent noticed almost everything can be a shelter, but that would kill the point of urgency and emission is trying to make.
F off back to GAMMA.... i heard thy got new lighting update out. Trying to look like Stalker 2 sooooo hard, imagine the ego on those jackoffs.
P.s. typical gamer lies, i wonder how you function outside the gaming world, you probably dont.....pathological liars everywhere....
This guy thinks there is a game with zero Bugs.
1. this isn't fallout
2. this isn't cod
3. fair enough
4. cope
5. a-life, being fixed, also skill issue
6. a non issue
7. this is a gameplay balance mechanic
8. ammo is plentiful and you shouldn't be expending enough to need to take it off of enemy corpses
9. this isn't fallout and the prices change by region
10. this is somewhat valid
11. just find a suitable shelter buddy
People are allowed to give their opinions on the game on these forums, just like you are allowed to ignore threads that you do not want to read.
reminder that the game went up to 80% positive reviews before most people had time to install it.
meaning, it was review bombed, which is not surprising for a very highly anticipated title.
i wouldn't naively use steams review system to judge if a game is good using steam reviews for highly anticipated games is basically like going on ign, one of the reviews i read even stated "i haven't even played the game yet but i know i love stalker" so a lot of biases out there.
please form your own judgement, the reviews is of no help to you or anyone, but also i don't think you should judge the OP, have you seen your post history on here my guy?
all you do is ramble incoherently and defend this broken product like jesus himself was just born, with extremely passive aggressive trolly remarks that nobody asked for.
least the op actually made an argument that had validity, you're just being rude, nobody likes dudes like that.
Let us all radiate ourselves.
1: The original Stalker trilogy did this perfectly. It wasn't fallout either.
2: The original Stalker trilogy did this perfectly. It wasn't cod either.
5: A-Life being "fixed". Reportedly. Also, it was reportedly working up until the last minute - when it was revealed it was a total mess. Yet we are to believe it now? Gullibility.
9: The original Stalker trilogy did this. It wasn't fallout either.
S2 is more like CoD (or, say, Far Cry), with a buggy fan-made "Zone" full-conversion mod applied to it.
A lot of the original lore is just gone.
The following ARE lore of the original trilogy.
* No A-Life 2.0
* No Binocs
* No NVG
* No Infrared Scanner
* No Low Crouch. Original series this gave you: 1) Entry to smaller spaces (albeit there were not very many) 2) More accurate aim 3) Less visibility (this one is particularly noticable if you are sneaking up on mobs).
* Many non-rebindable keys (both "can't change the keybind" for an action AND certain keys (like keypad keys) not able to be selected as a rebinded key.
* No healing while sprinting
* No reloading while sprinting
* Sniper Rifles have no point as there isn't anything 'distant' to snipe (due to the small "bubble" of activity that surrounds the player).
One can fecklessly point at those and quip "This isn't fallout" or "This isn't CoD" - but THEY ARE THE ORIGINAL STALKER LORE while S2 *IS* like a Cod or Far Cry with a Zone mod on it.
So, you have a problem with gamers..? Perhaps this is not the hobby for you.
