"just keep use ram untell it locks it up" - I'm not sure I understand this. I upped memory to 10GB to accomodate this possible issue.

why you still on windows 10 ??

Restarting under load usually indicates a hardware problem - has mainly 2 reasons
- bios settings not 100% correct = timings, voltage, frequency and such. Bios up-to-date ? Overclocking ?
- overheating. Checked not only CPU but also GPU/mainboard temps ?

Are these numbers correct ? 4070 Ti comes with 12GB (or 16GB if it's a super).

I'd suggest to run some benchmark or stress test to see if this a general problem under heavy load. Maybe also run a memtest, only to be sure.

what processor specifically are you using?
chaospaladin Dec 10, 2024 @ 8:44pm
It looks like your PSU is dying

Depending on what kind of "Intel processor" you have it could be the power supply. Good CPU plus 4070 might require at least 800 W power supply.

It's just an anomaly mate, you need to throw some bolts at your computer before you turn it on.
