Still runs like hot garbage?
This game still stutters like hell and GPU is not even at 70% utilization at 4k res, probably won't get better any time soon...

its not just GPU utilization, you are playing at 4K and that needs alot of VRAM

24gb of VRAM isn't enough?

Yes it still runs like trash, and nothing is going to change in near future. Do not listen to 'hardcore fans', its not your PC's fault. 4K is pretty much default gaming resolution in 2025.
Well I never expected the CPU to be a bottleneck at 4k a few months after release

Not true, 1080p is still the primary display resolution according to steam hardware survey. why? because its still the best balance of visual vs performance

Taa-based games like stalker 2 look awful on 1080p, google "taa circus method" to find out more
Survey also says 3060 (office tier gpu) is the most popular one

I don't use TAA I have mine set to DLSS / DLAA

You have multiple upscalers to choose from, TAA is just the default

i think it runs well now.
On a 4090 as well but an I9-14900KF. Game runs great for me without stuttering in 4k, I would say the game is table but memory leak still happens after 3-4hr playtime. Also cities have poor optimization as they lean too much on the CPU causing lower frames (generally get 110-120 while roaming, 90 in towns). Maybe you're having an hardware issue with your CPU? Try going into BIOS and messing with your voltages.

For reference I'm running DLSS DLAA/Frame gen, all settings on Epic. 4k resolution

I don't have any issues, this is the only game that's causing issues.

The stuttering seems to go away only when enabling frame gen, which should never be the case for any game....

I don't think this is because of performance. More because of poors...

No its not and its not even close.
The wilderness areas run alright for the most part. Its whenever you get in to a built up section or anywhere with more than 3 NPC's the game turns in to a slide show. Its not acceptable. Performance really needs to be worked on for this game. It should be the devs top priority because its not good enough. Even on good hardware.
