extreme simplicity mission... ward or spark?
i don't really follow the main story since i play this game like 3-5 hours a week, so i'm not exactly sure if the ward is good faction or bad faction, also this is my first stalker game,i have no prior knowledge but i kinda remember ward general giving me a badge and i do some research for them i guess its about monolith, i guess strider and scar are the spark dudes, i dont really remember much about them, what should i do? which faction should i choose to kill for minimum punishment lol, i really dont like it about this game, in every zone you are forced choose a side ffs

There are 4 endings in the game depending of the choices you make. It´s up to you

yea and you can access all 4 endings with the gaffer storyline with certain misison choices but its not really the correct way to complete the ward side, unfortunately ward side is still buggy, there storyline has new areas to go to throughout the story but can't be completed currently

what do you mean by that?so if i choose to side with the ward, that means my quest will be bugged and i wont be able to finish the game?

if you started the game with ward then you will get stuck at a specific mission about 2/3 of the way through, hense why I said the only way to see ward ending is to swap mission choices on the stalker side but its not the correct way to complete ward ending it wont make any sense to you

I would side with spark on that one just to avoid getting stuck

No such thing as a "good" faction in Stalker 2. Everyone is some shade of grey. You'll be questioning your own moral choices regardless of whom you join.
Certain people will continue to insist that the Ward side has an unavoidable, impassable error despite multiple other people (including me) stating that they either did not encounter a bug there, or that they could pass it by reloading from earlier. The power of the interwebs, reddit truth and clickbaiting YTers.

What happens with this game too often is that upon loading an area or npc something will go wrong. One of the NPCs might not load, or it's dialogue scripting won't update. But once it's loaded, that's how it is for any future saves from that point, so if a mission won't update or an npc won't talk (or a certain door remains sealed) then you're going to have to backtrack, reload and do it over again.

The best places to try again are before the previous main mission change and/or >100m or so outside the area before you approach it. So if the bug is at mission stage C, you need to go back to at a minimum to just before you completed stage B to have any solid chance to avoid it. Loading just before the big fight or whatever at C is likely not going to do anything but waste your time more.

Luckily the game defaults to a reasonable autosave frequency, but Save Early, Save Often should be etched into any gamer's soul.

I've already tried that multiple times going back to earlier saves and I am not the only one stuck on the same mission, You saying stuff like that only delays the problem even further instead of the developers fixing it

Where are people stuck ward side? I heard 2/3 a lot but not what actual mission. I'm Ward side and just got sent to Yaniv, which is pre Pripyat from the looks of it.
The most common place to get stuck on the Ward path is the second assault on the Duga. In addition, early on, the stand-off with the bandits is extremely buggy.

Anything I say has zero impact on the work of the developers. that's just the latest lame attempt to justify the spreading of misinformation. Why are you so hellbent on ruining other's enjoyment of the game? Is it unacceptable to you that, if you must suffer, that others enjoy the game? Must they also suffer as well?
