Normal... Its a full CPU load intensive task.
If you've always monitored shader tasks in the past via CPU Temperature overlays and think this is out of the norm, its potentially an issue with your rig. (Check paste/fan speed etc.)
80c for 2-7mins on 7800x3d won't kill your CPU.
Every driver update which is less than 10 or a year on average for nvidia, expect recompile task. (Or just withhold on doing driver updates to avoid full recompile for UE titles. Your choice.)

I mean, folks can easily say this back to you,
"I don't understand why MOST (not all,) PC gamers in 2025 still don't understand HOW COMPILING SHADERS work
Could be that the people that are complaining about there still being a Memory Leak actualy Disabled Compiling Shaders, and thats causing the game to crash, but thats just a theory...
