Improved shader cache compilation with AMD Radeon
I have found a way to make the shader cache compilation much faster, after looking for a setting to increase the size of the cache, if this might be helpful for others.

I found this post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/comments/t1b8bb/i_found_a_possible_fix_for_stuttering_on_amd_cards/

Changing the setting to "32" as suggested has changed compilation into a wait of seconds rather than minutes ( 5950x / 7900xtx / 80Gb mem ).

No warranty other than "it works for me".

Those settings for the shader cache made no difference in my case. With Nvidia you can specify the size dedicated to the cache, the settings I have shared for AMD simply say that the cache is always present.

Never took me minutes to Compile Shaders, was always like 30 seconds or less.

But i do not have that registry entry anyway...
Maybe its from an older driver that was not properly uninstalled?

I use AMD Cleanup Utility nce in a while, that might have removed it, or some payed software i sometimes use if i want to clean the registry, temp files, and tumbnails etc.
CCleaner also works great for that, just watch out its not installing AVG/AVAST with it.

Edit: just tested on my old rig, took about 30 seconds to compile shaders, and no more memory leak :) R7 3700X / RX 6700XT / 16GB RAM / M.2 SSD

Check your Bios settings, might be you can optimize settings further like correct memory profile (XMP) (and if posible Low Latency support if you got Low Latency memory) and turning on Above 4G Encoding and Resizable BAR so AMD SmartAccess Memory gets Enabled in AMD Adrenalin Controle Pannel.
Make sure you got CPU Ratio Mode set to All Core's

30 - Disabled
31- AMD Optimized
32 - Enabled

Recomendation is to set it to 32, so shader compiling alwys take place and klater in games it prevent ocacional stuter when shader is compiling mid game.
