Does 4070 super run this game good?
I’m planning on upgrading my pc and wondering if anyone can run this game good at 1440p on the 4070 super?

I can only barely get high settings with my current 3070 ti and I want to get epic with the upgrade

Turn on Framegen and Nvidia Reflex to Ultra, I'm on a 3070 and get 70 - 80 FPS on Epic detail
I have been playing on a standard 4070 and I can get 60 fps (with frame generation) on 1440p but even though Steam frame rate counter says 60, it feels laggy and unresponsive and feels more like 30 fps.

The game appears to be very un-optimised. Frame generation is only for rtx 4000 series and above.
Turn on Wsync in the settings, lock the fps in the settings to 30fps and turn on framegen+dlls. You will have 60 fps in the game and the lag will be noticeably fixed. It works very well for me and the lag is minimal.

Thanks for the advice:steamhappy:
I have a 4070 Ti and it runs fine for me at 1440p with no frame gen and no reflex and only using DLSS on quality and everything on epic or high. 70-80 in settlements and 95-105 FPS when out exploring. I do have a 7800X3D CPU though so you will get much worse results with a weaker CPU due to how important CPU power is in this game.

Same for most games the difference between high and ultra or epic is minimal.

You could not pay me to play this or any game with native 30FPS and then use frame gen on top. I would rather do my own DIY eye surgery. Lag is minimal they say. Compared to what measure of time? A calendar? :steamfacepalm:

Like dangerouschicken 1440p +60 fps with ffs

It does. 4070 Super at 1440p with DLSS3 + FG gives me 100-120 FPS on epic. No any lag.

Oh good, yeh I might skip the artifact generator gpus then if a 4070 super will run next gen games well enough

3070 ti probably has vram capacity issues.

See what the new nvidia drivers releasing in 5 or 6 hours can do. With the new transformer model, dlss override settings, improved dlss and stuff might get a better experience.

There's also settings and mods to reduce vram usage.

Set hair to low.

Will that apply to 30 series?

it should ran ok, provided u hv a cpu decent enough not throttling

Support have confirmed there are known conflicts between ingame settings and Nvidia/AMD Control panels. They suggest reset Control panels to default settings and only use ingame settings. I have all on highest using a 3080 Ti with 100-120 FPS when set to 120.
Have changed to 60 FPS and now using 30-100Watts instead of +300Watts = a happier wallet :)
And NOT using GeForce optimizing.
4070 super Is fine. More importantly is a good cpu that can keep up with it. I'm running a 11700k and in this game my cpu gives me a bottleneck at 1440p.
Chart is at ~ 50 seconds in the video. You get 3 out of 5 things. Might get more in the future? You get the transformer stuff also. Dlss performance + transformer might be good.

Does an i7 14th gen bottle neck this? Or a ryzen 5 7500F?
