Certain NPCs like guards, will warn you to holster your weapon and then attack if you do not comply. Have you just applied this to a broader scope of NPCs? I understand that not all Stalkers have this in their actor behaviour lists, I've only seen it on guards so far.
It's a broken feature. When you reach Zalissya the game tells you to holster your weapon when in settlements or the NPCs will get mad, but you can walk around with the weapon drawn and the NPCs don't care. In the older STALKER games you always had to holster your weapon around neutral NPCs, or they would point their gun back at you and slap you..
In STALKER 2 I've seen it happen but it's very rare..
Yes thats true, this feature in S2 is occasional.
