Stalker 2 keeps reverting to high settings
I'm running the game on 'Epic' settings and every time i restart my PC the graphics revert to 'high settings'I usually get 60 -70 FPS on ' Epic' settings running at 4 k resolution. But why does it keep resetting to 'High' ?

Dont know why it happens in the first place but if you change and forget to "Apply" it will come back......
Check you GPU control panel, maybe you got conflicting setings (should be on controled by the aplication in most cases)

I agree.... Support have confirmed there are conflicts between ingame settings and Nvidia/AMD Control panels.
Support suggest to reset Control panels to default and only use ingame settings.
They are working on this but until fixed it might work......

Yep, that sorted it, thanks. Nvidia app graphics settings were optimising the game. I turned off optimisation and all is good!

thats why you don't use that geforce experience garbage I always do a custom install of the drivers to disable that
