this means that steamdb is scanning for News, its dont mean Stalker is doing anything !
i thoug ;)
I really hope GSC applies proper fixes to DLSS3 --> DLSS4 and fix framegen mem leak.
The ghosting really is BAD in this game.
yea but some can't play right now cause of the stuck shader bar, storyline progression bugs, and rostok freezing, they should have done these critical fixes in a micro patch
This is true... This part sucks. They introduced new issues, just before christmas, went on vacation, and never released ANY official announcements since Dec 23 2024.
This part feels crappy.
Yes, we know youtubers and reddit/X/discord contain breadcrumbs of insight into their devious plans for upcoming/rumored patches, but the LACK of official communication really needs improvement from their team.
Like, if this was an early access title, sure.
No rest for the Wicked as an example, 4 months of no official communication, lol. (Yes, their discord and official forums will have breadcrumbs as well.)
It sucks there, but a bit more expected for Early-Access title like No Rest For The Wicked.
Stalker 2, full release, and zero comms for a month? Come on mate....
I bet they have some of them done by now, they just choose to make it all in one patch
Sorry for shameless plug, but DLSS 4 from Cyberpunk’s latest update already can be used in Stalker, works seamlessly on my 4070 and fixes a lot of visual artifacts (at least it feels so): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3413106372
I know it’s not the best way to deal with such issues, and devs will deliver proper DLSS fix, but while we’re waiting for the patch it’s still an improvement.

TL;DR Next week patch and Februar bigger update.
But, it's based on assumptions so careful.
