And to your last point. They cut a lot of content from this game to release it on time.
Just looked it up, those hidden areas are actually the central power plant. The core buildings of the chernobyl nuclear plant and the original location of the wish-granter. So naturally in a game called "Stalker: HEART OF CHERNOBYL" the one place we cant visit is the literal HEART OF CHERNOBYL. Figures. They'll probably release it in the future as a half-baked DLC with short, crappy, storytelling that doesn't do it justice instead of baking it right into the game as it should have been.
Okay, just making sure. I just looked it up, those hidden areas are actually the central power plant. The core buildings of the Chernobyl nuclear plant and the original location of the wish-granter. You can get into the cooling towers area though. I think you just walk across the bridge to it, but I am not sure. I know there is an arch anomaly there though. Pretty sure the devs are at least PLANNING to add a crap-ton of DLC in the future. I cant count the number of hidden bunker doors that look really important but you cant actually enter in this game. Still, I wont hold my breath for our DLC options quiet yet.
I have fully explored the cooling towers. No main quests go there.
In a way you might say that the Cement Factory is "used".
There is a guy complaining that Duty isnt doing their work anymore when saying something like that in the old days (Call Of Pripyat) they keept the area clean from dogs but now they are all over the place. It´s not a mission but a way to tell me.... If you have the guts check it out. Never know what you might found there.
Havent been there yet so I have no idea what can be found...... if anything at all.
Or it might just be a distraction.......
what are you saying, cement factory and cooling towers are used in the game. Or are you referring just to the main quest?
They are not used by the main questline.
Like stalker vs warden and the access to main bases. Cant fully comment yet as I havent finished 2nd playthrough yet.
But with stalker I got to the east of red forest area, if onremember correctly, by guide?
main quest yes
You won't be able to complete the ward playthrough its bugged at the second duga mission, only stalker side works
Not for all though, I had no problems there at any time and was doing ward.
