Weird Water is way OP
The description says the artifact makes radiation slightly less of an issue or something along those lines, but it pretty much offers the best radiation protection I've seen ingame.

Given the added carry weight, stamina bonuses, and complete lack of negative effects under 50kg, there's no reason to not have it on you at all times.

Drunken effect? Sure would be an issue but apparently it only causes the visual effect which is a slight inconvenience at worst.

I thought it was bugged but apparently it's supposed to work this way.

I like it.
I cant aim to save my life with water equipped and the drunk effect kicks in :er_sad:

I can't stand the visual effect. Didn't even collect it on my second play through
I'm on my third play through and went straight for it :) .... Started working for the ward and hit the Sawmill Bug not long into it....Doh!

Hey I LOVE it, but I'll probably not unequip it for the whole playthrough now.

Maybe if drunkenness had some real negative effects it would be more balanced.

Even if you're not using it by default, it's a fantastic utility artifact for when you're overburdened by good loot to sell.
I'd rather spend 5 minutes sprinting back to base drunk than 15 minutes running out of stamina and chugging energy drinks every other step
What you say about Weird Water is correct.

But I'd see it from a different perspective. Instead of calling it OP, I'd call it "The only actually useful arch-artifact".

Weird Ball has been nerfed, and although it's got a clever gimmick, it isn't really worth carrying.

Weird Nut can be useful, but it becomes redundant as soon as you can afford to permanently equip a Hypercube instead.

Weird Bolt needs recharge, and anyway it reportedly crashes the game.

Weird Pot supposedly keeps you sated at the cost of random psi damage. Why someone would use it when food items are literally everywhere, I can't figure.

Weird Flower... Has anyone ever actually used it once?!

Besides Weird Water, all the others are currently worth collecting just for the achievement and for the fun of their puzzles themselves.

Now that I think about it you are correct. Weird Water is the only Arch artifact I use. The rest suck lol.

The game has a very weak intoxication effect. Antirads and vodka do not make much difference. Even if you drink 10 bottles. In old games this did not happen before. Vodka caused strong camera shaking.

I've only got Weird Water and Weird Ball for now and yes the Water is very useful - but again overly so.

The ball I've found useful for the orange scientist suit that offers lots of effect protection but weak physical

I need to use the console to get one since 3/5 unique artifacts do not spawn in my game because of a bug, but WP is absolutely useless; it doesn't actually slow the hunger drain rate for me based on my trial runs with it. Eating food with it equipped gives the chance of applying three effects to Skif: loud burping, DUI mode, and psi symptoms.

Thunderberries and a Hypercube are the only artifacts I need anyway.

lul
I hate how the artifacts are somewhat random. Found a flytrap but died and came back to the same spot only to get a stone flower instead.

Weird water's drunk effect is annoying but doesn't kick in until you're overweight. The super-lame thing about it is your stamina is affected as if you had red weight even if it says you're in the green. Ontop of that the drunk affect also makes everything use more stamina. That means 1 jump you're completely out and you can't climb things.

I just use weird water when it's time to head back to sell an inventory full of junk. It's super strong, but I can't play with the drunk effect on all the time.

There's achievements tied to doing things while drunk like trick shots.
