45 Artifacts < 1 Weapon Upgrade
So selling 45 artifacts.. (even includes 3 legendaries and some rares) doesn't cover the cost of fully upgrading a Saiga...

https://imgur.com/a/1hqnOtU

Current full upgrade prices for some items:
Diamond Exoskeleton - 384k
Saiga D12 - 192k
Kharod - 176k
SVU-MK S3 - 169k
Dnipro - 163k

Now how balanced is that?

Don't be a STALKER, be a mechanic... Free market ftw

TLDR: Making veteran gameplay at a 3x *yes three times* disadvantage vs stalker difficulty is a bs economy design...

The economy in S2 is a joke.

IMO the economy is just fine. I think most original stalker players would agree.

If it's expensive, then upgrade it and go with the AK74S. You can go through the whole game with it. And it's cheap to maintain and there are bullets lying around.
Weird. I don't face economy issues. Maybe bc I am treating the game like I treat every other game with an economy. I grab the weapons from enemies and sell them. Yes the red ones as well.
Grab everything on my way to an objective, drop it somewhere I can get it back after the mission. After mission equip weird water, grab my stuff go back to base. I put my red ones into my private stash and then sell them in bunches to the npc buying red guns. A full run depending on the guns nets between 50-120k. I just unlocked the spend 1mill achievement without using any economy mods.
Bro I've sold maybe 3 artifacts ever. Have a stash full of doubles. Never below 100k credits and everything fully upgraded. Stop using premium gear that costs way too much to repair like the dnipro and kharod
I hope they make upgrades and repairs cheaper, but it makes a diference where you sell your stuff, some traders give you verry little

Well, really, you can not use ranged weapons at all, but JUST poke everyone with a knife, and you also need to remove the armor, otherwise you will have to repair it.

Not getting hit and selling your medical equipment is the key to success but you sound like you already know that. :emofdr:

You absolutely can, just the more your stuff gets damaged the more it costs to fix. So I always have it fixed to top shape. And if it gets below 70% in a mission I switch to an enemy's gun. That can break all it wants :D

Economy in Stalker2 is beyond unfinished or tested. I modded the Values so the Game remains Fun.

I don't think the economy sucks, the loot sucks. You can literally find two types of food, four types of drink, and a few medical items and that's it.
