Crashing In Rostok
So, first time playing since the patch... Until now I have experienced very little technical difficulties. But now, when in Rostok, I am using the chest to drop off items, the game crashes - Casually sorting through items and ammo to sell, and boom. Happened 6-7 times now. Then after this, I restarted the PC and relaunched the game and I had the Shadder freeze on the title screen. Anyone else experiencing this?

Never crashes in Rostok, but I do get the dreaded memory leak where FPS drops to 5-10 fps until I either pause the game and wait, or restart the game.

Shader freezing is still a thing, but at least now with the v1.1.3 patch, if you kill the game, then restart it, it will skip the compile for that session after it fails the previous time.
Yeah, I saw the pop up from the Devs saying to bare with us, and managed to get back into the game. But went back to the chest to get some bits out and same again. Tried two/three more times and nothing. Just have to carry some extra weight a bit further :steamfacepalm:

I just had a terrible memory leak in Rostok as well. Game was using 50gigs of RAM

I had to alt-f4 to get the game to close. everything became unresponsive

Its a known problem, just avoid Rostok or be very quick with Personal box or inventory. (RAM memory get full and crash)

OK, having the same issue, glad to know is not only my end or system. Sooo, Stash from Rostok be quick or go to another stash. It's that it?
Because it was hilarious, I thought it was rostok itself, but after loading the game I avoided the Stash and went to speak with npcs and all. Not a single crash. Then returned to the stash, sorted some stuff again and boom, crash again.
Hope they fix this next patch then. In the meantime avoiding stash in Rostok is the rule. Cool

i have same kind of problems (RAM memory get full and crash), but not only in Rostok but also in Malachite. I definitelly have the problem using the chest to drop off items, but also if i stay and play in this area. i have 32G RAM normally the game is using 25 to 50 % but in these areas it is using 95% and game freeze every let say 15minutes.
even the ESC key is not working. i hav eto wait the crash game or kill the app with task manager. i use to play in EPIC but even in LOW doesn t really change, i just can play 25 min before crash.

Ok, so I tried another thing to deal with the crash: The game doesn't crash immediately after you open the stash, but seems to star up the memory leak problem until it happens and game crashes. So, deal with the leave/take stuff from the stash quickly, as fast as you can, then leave the room and save. Quit the game and load again.
Not ideal but at least it won't crash or hardcrash your system and make you restart your pc or worse. Either way you'd have to restart the game because at some point it would freeze and crash. This way you make it your own WAY MACHO-STYLE:mllrrad::B1:(while crying on the inside wishing for a fix quickly:mhpatchie::steamsad:).
Hope it helps:mllrrad::steamhappy:

Happens to me all the time. I found out that for me it doesnt crash if I move only a few items - for example three weapons, no more...
Everytime I try to be more greedy and bam the freeze happens.

Yup, happened to me aswell today, went to rostok after leaving malachite and got a memory leak, atleast i am not alone :D
That massive gravity anamoly in Rostok also results in massive framerate loss when I go near it.
