Reloading drops ammo in magazine!
If this has been brought up before, I couldn't put in the right search keywords to find it.

Anyway, I just realized if I accidentally reload my weapon, the current magazine is dropped and whatever ammo inside said magazine is lost. I can see the magazine on the ground, but I can't pick it up. If it was say full, I'm just out 30 rounds of valuable ammo. Reloading at any time should just load a full magazine and not make you lose any ammo. Or at a minimum, give the player the ability to pick it up. It's too stupid to be stupid. I feel this needs to be corrected, or fixed if this is a bug.

I didn't think this was the case. Pretty neat if true.
It doesn't drop ammo from the mag.

Dropped mags are purely cosmetic. Either mods or you're making it up

Some games do that when you have leftover ammo in it, this one does not, its only cosmetic

Yeah ammo is never lost when you reload. I have noticed the dropped mags rolling down a roof of a building or on the ground too but you never lose ammo for reloading. Maybe you got some mod that is adding this feature or you cannot count?
