no female in the game?

Just curious what u guys think of the lack of female stalkers.

I'm new in the franchise, so if you can give me lore about it I'd be interested, possibly without spoilers.

There are some women in the zone, but haven't seen a stalker yet. It's classic eastern european culture.

as mentioned, harpy was actually a stalker who had gone out on mission. her PDA recording tells of her getting an injury that made it so she couldnt go out anymore. So shes confirmed to be a female stalker.

- then, from this small percentage, how many would survive long enough?

I agree 6 female characters is still low, and I wouldn't mind the possibility to run the history through a female perspective, but we gotta agree with the rarity of bumping into a female character which is not far from reality. Still, we talking about a parallel line history from Chernobyl event with laws-of-physics-bending phenomenons and mutants taking 58 slug shots in the head just shaking it off. So we aren't really for realism, lets agree on that too right

Radiation usually is higher closer to the ground.
The women all died because they have to squat to pee. Radiotaion crept up their V and killed them from inside.

But jokes aside. I am a little insane and would totally go to the Zone if it were real, but I don't know a single woman besides me who would get even close. So yeah... there being more men makes absolute sense.
