Massive lag spikes/freezes help?

I've just got the game and I'm trying to go through the tutorial, but I'm struggling with inexplicable lag spikes.
The game runs otherwise extremely well, 60fps on high settings no problem, but every 10-15 seconds, the game just freezes, from 60fps+ to frozen for a second or two.

Anyone have an explanation as to why. or how to fix it?
My computer is good, I have a 2060 and a relatively new model of I5 and unless it's in the middle of a lag spike, it runs smooth as butter.
Anything?

It might be your cpu that is the bottleneck and or low on ram

2060 only has 6GB of VRAM does it not? Unless you really turn down settings like texture quality you may be running out of VRAM which would explain the stutters and freezes.

I am using around 9GB VRAM with my 4070 Ti at 1440p and everything on high or epic.

60 FPS is bad. because once you get to HUB areas with lots of NPCs that 60 FPS will become 20-30 FPS. And probably crash your game.

Also the tutorial area is the least performance intensive area in the game. With the exception of some indoor areas. If you are already having issues...

And those lag spikes and freezes are due to your RTX 2060 not having enough VRAM.
