Armor durability

is the Armor durability has a direct effect on all the stats of the armor ? Let's say the armor is about 50% damaged... are All the stats are affected?

Also why is the repair cost is so high on armor ?

i don't know the specifics, but durability DOES affect armour stats by a small amount

repair cost is pretty awful but it changes depending on a few factors:
- the durability of the armour
- the total value of the armour (the tragically high coupon value you'll never get from selling to a trader you see by hovering your mouse over it)
- the reputation you have with the faction/technician (green means high rep, meaning repair costs are cheaper)

in general, the cheapest solution to repair costs is to repair the items as frequently as possible after quests or whatever
FYI upgrades to guns and armour does raise the actual VALUE of the item, meaning that they cost more to repair

I repair my armour every time I return to a base with a technician, hopefully a friendly green one. I also always go for the 'reduced wear and tear cost' upgrades on my main suits. If I'm not getting shot up/chased by mutants, I remove my armour while crouch-walking through glass clouds.

yes the stats go down when the health of it geos down, cause I seen them jump back up after repair

as for the costs of repair, don't worry about it, when you do all your trading/repairs set the game to rookie mode, and then set it back to veteran before going back to combat, this is what I am doing currently because the radiant side missions are currently broke

You could use the loner exoskeleton or Shturm Exo and combine it with a compass artifact. Fully upgrade it except the anomaly protection. Those are not needed. This way, you have a max physical and good amount of psy protection exo without breaking the bank when repairing.

Shturm and loner Exo are identical btw, think of the Shturm as a skin for the loner exo.

Ask the developers but they've already said that it was intended.
Get wear reduction upgrades and you'll notice a significant difference in repair costs overtime, assuming you plan on using that piece for a long time.

The most succinct response would have been:
Yes, all stats are lowered. Yes, armour repair costs are high at first but can be mitigated in various ways, Bit dry though.

depends on the difficulty you run and the health your armor/guns is currently at, repair costs are cheaper in rookie, more expensive in veteran

You will want to have alot of extra coupons for the final battle too cause it has traders/repair at certain points in it
