Just figured out you can make vendors go green by doing side quests in towns

After I got a slug for the vendor in Rostok for a side quest everyone in town turned green. If you want cheap ♥♥♥♥, do some side quests for the NPCs in the town you are in. More than one, until they turn green apparently. That would explain why people complain so much about repair costs, you can make them quite a bit lower.

Giving meds to the fallen helps. If some NPC asks you for some vodka, and you give it, etc. all helps to boost Rep with the faction you're helping.

Techs that are green give enough of a discount that it still can be cheaper hiring a regular guide to take you to a green tech. You can end up spending a lot less, even after paying that guide.

Yeah I did one side quest for Duty, not even got to Sirrca yet (I refuse), because a lot of people complanied of problems of this turning point quest.

I did a job for Duty and they liked me for doing it.

We seriously need a rep system like Clear Sky, check our progress and who likes us and who doesn't.
