Npc shot gun range.
Mc can stand at a range where they can barely see the npc and they always hit like a normal rifle. Am I the only one who think this us just stupid?

The player should also be able to shoot his shotgun like that with buckshot
Slug = Range
Buckshot = Spread

NPC = Shotgun Sniping
I honestly don't know how the developers tested the game and gunfights thinking this was good. Unless it's one of the things they put in as a placeholder planning to fix later. Right now, the AI just feel like bots from a multiplayer game lol.
How accurate the NPCs are in shots and how well they shoot is very poorly designed and I have the impression that it is untested. They can shoot a character from a huge distance, and our character catches everything like a sponge. I won't even mention that they can see a character standing behind a tree or behind a wall. They clearly should have designed it differently and checked it better. There are already mods that improve this, and the fight becomes more enjoyable.

It's programmed super lazy. If the NPC can see you they can hit you with a weapon doesn't matter which kind.

I like being lazy too. I see NPC I shoot NPC.

You see npc across the field and shoot with pistol, you won't hit NPC. NPC however will hit you if it can see you.

To test this theory go find a pack of zombies. They come with weapons that can shoot beyond their visual range. They will allow you to come much closer than other npcs. Once zombies spot the player their visual range becomes that of normal npcs and their range effectively doubles. Once activated, You can disengage the zombies and they will still hit you from beyond their normal visual range.

I have not seen this.

But I hid commonly behind something to loose line of sight to NPCs.

Maybe I need to stay in line of sight.

Bushes are annoying but I have lost line of sight among tall grass in a swampy area once I got far enough away.

Why do people keep giving this positive reviews. The issues affecting this game are some of the worst I've seen in a recent RPG. This issue should have been fixed already

yes it has flaws i had to fix with mods, but overall i loved wandering around the zone so it gets a thumbs up review from me. that does not mean your opinion is not valid, but the review is my opinion.

It probably doesn't do much damage, I have noticed it but I figure it was just one or 2 stray pellets in falloff.
>Wear exoskeleton
>Random bandit with TOZ spawns 80 meters away from you

>Bleeding
>Retaliate firing five bullets into chest of said drunkard
>Still standing

Yeah.

Yeah.

Sometimes the pellet goes through a whole car and still bleeds you in diamond exoskeleton.

IRL pity, everyone knows it.

And with this statement you just exposed yourself because AI will shoot at you with pinpoint precision regardless of cover or sight.

Yeah, you walked out of the bubble range so they despawned.
So accurate a skinny tree can block 50% of the bullets. But keep on lying to get your way.

Pathetic.
I feel like this is karma for all the time I spent shotgun sniping in BF3. 870 with slugs on Karkhand was hilarious fun. No so fun when its aim bot NPCs taking off 1/6th of my health with a TOZ from 60m while I'm behind cover in a fully upgraded Diamon exo with physical damage and bleed artefacts.

I take so much damage from such long range while I'm so well kitted up that it actually wondering if something is being ignored or isn't being calculated correctly.
