All valid questions. GSC pledged all these things, plus more. Free multiplayer and full modding support were also claimed to be in the works.

So yes. Some fresh info will be very welcome, even if it's just a "we're working on it. These things are still coming" announcement.

After all, at this point, we don't really know what's still happening - and what's been cancelled.

April is likely the next patch drop it will probably be a big patch. A-life isn't getting any more major changes, but some polishing.. They don't have time and are moving on to work on the dlc and bug fixes. They also don't have the staff to make major changes to the game code. Deep development for stalker 2 is complete. Coop would be nice but the devs were pretty specific about that being a very very low probability. Mods can do some cool things for sure later but there won't be A-life mods that change how npc are spawned Into the game world or how they are tracked. It's a different type of game then the original stalker games. Some people can appreciate it for what it is and some can't. Both are valid !

Seems so, just downloaded 9,7GB Patch in Gamepass - now it's Game Version 1.7.1014.0

In my opinion the game hasn't moved on enough from Call of Pripyat, in fact certain aspects of the older game is better, NV goggles, Binoculars, etc. I don't think that this is the game it was intended / should have been, in all honesty I am disappointed with it.
