This game is literally unplayable.
I was having fun and my framerate was buttery smooth up until I reached the bunker and then after that my FPS went from 60-120 to 20-25 even with my settings turned down to medium. I have periods where my FPS goes back to normal but then it tanks again.

After you use the scanner and you get attacked by some dudes, It's nearly impossible to aim and attempting to fix the performance by turning everything down, restarting the game, reloading saves, nothing works.

Guess we're gonna have to wait 6-12 months most likely for these issues to be ironed out.

Also my setup is an i7-14700, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD and an RTX 4070. I should be having no issues with this game.

Very disappointing.

Should have been there when Clear Sky dropped, oh boy...

And that was on CD ROM! At least we can be grateful for one thing about DRM... updates.

It's in the game. It's unplayable for so many players. No significant patches have been released since its release. These are the facts.

How could it possibly be my fault? It's not like I'm trying to play it on an i3 with 8GB of ram and a 1050 Ti. It's not my hardware.

If it was that bad then it would be reflected in the reviews.

dude literally paid money for a product the least you should expect is for it to work. Quit being a shill.
5900x with 3080Ti on 1440p. Everything maxed - no upscaling or frame generation used and I'm pulling around 55-60fps. Aside from a few stutters for things loading in from time to time, the game runs pretty good.

However, there certainly are bugs that need to be squashed in missions and NPC behaviours.

This game runs at 90 FPS for me with a 10400K, 3060TI, and 16 GB of ram. I did install the performance tweaks from Nexus, which made an enormous difference. My settings are a mix of low (just a few unimpactful settings), medium, and ultra. Frame generation and Reflex are on, no VSYNC. Maybe you can try the performance fixes.
My game breaks down everytime you enter the first village. Just now I had a drop down to 5 FPS where it stuck. Running 4080 Super

This game still has memory leak issues and with a video card that has 12 gigs of vram it's going to manifest sooner rather than later you'll just have to wait for a patch.

Most likely OP has something else running. Like a bad antivirus (norton, mcaffey). Or maybe a mining software. Also, video drivers installed with windows update sucks. OP has nvidia. So, it is better to get the latest nvidia drivers.
