I don't think that quest is broken. You are supposed to find the secret entrance into the building (yes, there is one in the village) and grab a PDA with the next coordinates from one of the bodies.
SPOILER FREE
I'm soft locked (if that's the correct term) on a rather major side quest in Zaton, whose result is going to affect two of the main hubs in the region and their traders.
As far as I understand, I'm supposed to kill two VIPs, but I could also choose to ignore the task and join said VIPs instead. Either way, at some point a scripted event will try to kill the VIPs anyway.
My issue is that I want to side with the VIPs, but somehow since I refused the mission once (and did a ton of other stuff later, so restarting from a previous save isn't an option), now as soon as I accept the mission the game apparently considers that the scripted event already happened, with both VIPs being already dead, so I instantly get the "other" outcome that I didn't want.
Could a console reset be the solution in this case? Should I backup my saves folder before trying?
Hey, actually haven't reset any quests yet, just used some console commands to sort out the Zalyssia mess, with everyone in the town hall. Definitely back up save files or create a save prior to attempting the console command.
I mainly wanted to reset the arena quests to have fun with them again but couldn't find their corresponding IDs.
