massive stutters everytime i look at an npc HELP
In the video, you can see that every time I look at an NPC in the safe zone, I experience massive stutters. If I enter areas with many people, my FPS plummets and never recovers, and the issue worsens as I progress further in the game.

You might also notice that during these stutters or lag spikes caused by the NPCs, the power usage of both my GPU and CPU drops by half, as if neither is being fully utilized during these moments.

I've tried everything I could think of, but I just can’t figure out what’s causing this. This issue doesn’t occur in any other game I play, only in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. I really need help to understand and resolve this.

It has been worse since 1.0.3.

I still have my frames cut in half after an hour or two of game play and I have to restart the game to get it to stop. I havent done an analysis on what my PC is doing or looked at logs yet but the problem is routine and repeatable.

Try saving, exit game entirely, and reload the game.

Memory leaks.
You cant do nothing about it, its on their side. They have to repair it, problem is technical state of the game.
I have a decent rig and I have to restart the game from time to time too, because the longer I play, the worse it gets till the moment its totally unplayable.

Im sure I ll never forget that shader compilation screen.

Meh.

I have the same issue!!
but in my opinion this is related to a-life 2.0, looks like some calculations are being perfomed when we look at an npc, I guess
I couild be wrong, I wonder if we can have different a-life options to play with..

This still happens in some HUB areas like Rostok.

yes, this is working, but I lowered few others options a little bit too, but now, no more stuttering and game runs at 80fps all the time...
