I'm sure there will be in time. And I wouldn't worry too much about the fidelity of the models and animations being higher in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 than in the first one. Some of the guns in G.A.M.M.A. for example have amazing models as well.
To be fair the game has tons of weapons already. It even has a bolt action in base game!

Issue is, game certainly has higher quality standards for a weapon by all fronts compared to the original trilogy.
And I don't know how tricky it will be to include new weapons in NPC loadouts where you have weapons from more than one mod.
