Between the trolls, sock accounts and paid accounts (yes, they exist and there are companies who provide and use this service) is is just a cesspool of hate.
When people come here and complain about developers sticking to Discord or Reddit and never post or reply here it really makes me laugh, I honestly don't blame the dev's for not wanting to come here, I wouldn't come myself if I was a developer.
The best place to visit is usually the games official forums, official Discord or Reddit.
There is a difference between being straight up toxic and rude to giving real, honest constructive criticism.
I have no idea what Reddit you have been reading but from my experience its not even close, over on Reddit I have seen game developers reply many, many times, here no so often and most games never. Most of the developers that reply here and from very small indie developers from my experience over the years.
Oh I fully agree and again, as I said in my post, its one of the main reason developers never post here.
In my opinion they are all in the same bracket.
Rather that than a platform where they get straight up insulted.
Ah ok, either way, steam forums have become the dark brown hole of the internet.
