the achievement rate for unlocking the whole map is still at 0%, and the game has been out for 2.5 weeks.

Personally, I am at 16 hours and just got out of the first area so I can understand those like me who take their time and enjoy the game. However, for all games there are players who play a ton (like 8+ hours a day), and I'm surprised nobody has gotten this trophy yet for this game.

I don't think it's discovering every section because I did that, I think it's discovering each POI and I've been too lazy to load a save before the end and go around everywhere doing that yet haha

Ah ok, a bug would explain it. Even if it is every POI I'm sure someone would have done it already by now. So probably a glitched trophy.

I'm currently locked out of my game because of a bug, but I've sunk just over 52 hours into the game and I've only fully explored 3 sectors, with a further 4 being partially explored. I started out like most open world enjoyers and ignored the main quest completely while I dug around. Then like most open-world enjoyers I got a sense of dread because "I might be ruining the main story by visiting everywhere" so I started following the main quest and running side quests when I get them.

unless someone cheats or the thing is bugged (most likely the latter) i doubt anyone has visited every single spot yet due to how massive of a game this is and some POI's are not even visible on the map graphically to begin with. there are some hidden within "foggy" areas is what i mean by that.

Not surprising. Only 1.4% of players have killed Strelok and 2.2% have killed Scar. In other words, very few players have finished the main story much less explored everywhere. I finished the main story today, but I didn't go everywhere or do very many side missions. It took me 130 hours just to do that much. Second play through will be more complete. I suspect you can't actually go everywhere in a single play since your choices about who to side with take you to different places.

I have beat the game and used a cheat mod to disable radiation damage and enabled god mode to jump and explore various areas like CNPP and Iron Forest and rest of Generator map after reloading before the point of no return. still didn't get the achievement. though, it did unlock their names on the map (except for iron forest). and i did have a good time exploring a bunch of areas outside of the map, that aren't finished. and i spent a good amount of time ghosting through a lot of locked doors and was met with empty, barren rooms lol

(fun fact, you get a stash marker for the Generator area but you can't get to it afaik).
