unplayable, need help

Is anyone else having a problem I am having? Everytime I try and run the game I get a message "the following component(s) are required to run this program:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime"

I have a brand new PC and more than meets the requirements to run the game.
I have reinstalled the game, verified the game files multiple times, and still the game refuses to run. If the problem keeps happening I am going to ask for a refund.

Sounds like you might need to try installing the runtime manually. I honestly can't think why that would be the case as it usually comes preinstalled as part of Windows, but that's what I'd try.

In that case I'm afraid I have no idea, sorry man. Did you actually proceed with the installation when it said you already had it, or did you back out?

The problem is not the game, it is your pc, maybe a faulty installation of Visual C++ Runtime, have you tried to uninstall it, reboot and download and install again?

In that case I'd try what the other guys have mentioned; uninstall and reinstall it. You might want to use something like Revo Uninstaller to make sure you get all of the lingering system files.

That said, it's definitely not a game issue, but rather a computer one, despite it being brand new, so I wouldn't give up and ask for a refund just yet.
