Unfortunately it seems that ALL Malachite interactions have reversed reputation effects.
Whenever you do a quest that should improve your relations with them, it does the opposite.
I used a console command to turn them green, but all of their voice lines remain angry.
This is so bad GSC isn't fixing any of such bugs. Zalissya rescue quest is still bugged as hell despite them claiming to fix it
If your answers are positive to both, but especially 2nd question, this is story-driven change as the factions, even if they are very loosely defined, are affiliated with each other in the background. Scientist are affiliated with Ward and if you are at hostile terms with the Ward, Scientists from STC Malachite will also lose a lot of reputation with you.
Ah okays then that possibly makes sense. I did side with Spark and was hostile with Ward.
Yeah same. Had to complete the quest through console. It was a glitchy as hell.
I'll possibly test it out on another playthrough supporting the ward. Didnt realise how lunatic Scar is
There's white (neutral), Green (Good), Orange (Bad), Red (enemy)
