OP is this mod?
Seems my 1001 Survey isnt so much behind the exoskeleton- phys prot is also at max for me with upgrades...
Only good thing seems to be 25kg extra carrying capacity

No mod its a bug.
These armors are worn only by NPC'S if the game doesnt let the body drop fast enough when you kill them and you attempt to loot the corpse before it falls many times you get these.
FYI I was being sarcastic about it being epic lol.
The diamond Exoskeleton is much better. Its what i used until I hit end game.

It was a glitch back in 1.0.1, i got the same but with a Bandit armor.
