How Does Dificulty Scale?
If I play on veteran, does it just turn enemies into bullet sponges? Or does it actually make the game more fun?
Also, does it reduce loot spawns? Only a minute into the first quest, and the game had already given me three different AK's. That's pretty ridiculous.

When you get to the end of the prologue, before you activate the last objective, make sure you scout the building you're in, jump through the window and find the blue safe, put everything in there, when you finish the prologue, go back there and loot it, the artifact and weapons will be gone but you keep everything else you put in there, If you don't do that you will lose just about everything in your inventory

Playing on veteran reduces your damage by a quarter to 0.75 so it makes the already bullet spongy enemies even more spongy. Where as in the previous STALKER games playing on the highest difficulty made the enemies hit hard but you also hit just as hard back making it actually more balanced unlike in this one where its just a :repoop: show of spongy asf mutants and enemies.

Granted I'm only in second zone, but humans are 1 shot kill to the head, but yeah, monsters take a couple clips minimum.

Once you get further into the game some human enemies will take multiple headshots even if they are wearing no helmets and the mutants are just damage sponges but not as much as they used to be since they reduced their health in one of the patches recently. I'm personally still using Groks mutant health mod as I found it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous that the basic mutants eg Fleshes would take 4+ point blank shotgun shots to go down where as now they only take 2 to get put down. They just seemed to up the games difficulty by giving everything stupid amounts of health instead of making firefights more dangerous/deadly....consolized to the max imo :steamfacepalm:
