Unreal Engine 5, should move over to 5.5 and use the optimization packages.
repack your game in the newer UE5 Version with the optimisation improvements it has, then re-sell it to us.....call it the next gen stalker 2 version lol

It's not so easy.

This would be really cool if the devs did this, but unfortunately I really don't expect them to do it.

They should have done it before launch. Grey Zone Warfare difference was night and day when they updated to 5.4 I think.

They really should update to 5.5 asap,.The amount of improvements over 5.4 let alone over 5.1 is huge. Not only would it help PC players it would help console players greatly . 60 fps target on consoles for hardware lumen. Rendering improvements. And then there's megalights.

Do what, he has none of the game material.

It seems like non of 5.5 advisors have worked in game dev nor as programmers. Changing the engine version is not just like downloading patch. It can take weeks to move the project to different engine version, it will introduce new bugs and all the time programmers and dev team spend on updating projects they won't be able to spend on bug fixing. BAD. IDEA.

It's time to stop posting. This might give GSC very bad ideas.

Op hasn't even been on steam for a year.
Wouldn't listen to them, either a newbie to pc gaming or a clown farmer.

An engine upgrade after release? They can't even think of that let alone consider someone's idea on the forums.
It's not like they aren't getting direct advisement from Epic, and even without that every developer knows it's a bad idea.
