mods arent solutions
(so stop acting like telling people to get mods is helpful in any way its not)old title i made this after multiple people told me to stop whining about my game not starting and "just get mods" i think mods are great and useful but if someone is having a problem and brings it up to get it on the devs radar the constantly telling them that they shouldn't do that and just get mods will lead to the game being worse in the long run

It's still misleading. Were you possibly home-schooled?

Do you understand what nuance can be perceived when the headline of something reads "X aren't solutions"? The whole box of text lacks any formatting as well.
It can be summarised as:
"When I post about a problem with booting the game I get replies telling me to use mods for the issue and stop complaining. While I think mods are great the solutions I was offered hasn't helped me and I repost my problem to which I'm being told to stop repeating the same issue. (This means the developers will be unaware of my issue and as a result the game will become worse for it.)"

I had to paraphrase the last sentence in brackets because the written framing was difficult to parse.

Your mindset is currently: "If I don't repeat my issue the game will be worse off" and this is false, because if you create a ticket[support.stalker2.com] they will be aware of the issue as it is added to a spreadsheet in their database.

Instead of berating other users for trying to suggest solutions, which may or may not work, you should instead state: "Okay, so that mod didn't work. Are there any other solutions?" and perform a bit of key word searching on the internet. Maybe someone outside the forums have found a solution.

Edit: Fixed the URL.

holy cow i wasnt telling people whether or not they should get mods i was saaying that when someone brings up a problem to try and get it to the devs telling them just get mod x isnt helpful

Performance mods helped me with stutters and frame drops until the devs updated to 1.0.2. Even so, they weren't so bad as to make the game unplayable. If you're rocking a low FPS with stutters on above recommended hardware then you should try the mods available on nexus, otherwise stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Elaborate on how it isn't helping.
if someone is looking for a solution to a problem suggesting a mod is fine but if their asking the devs to fix it i see way to many people telling them to stop whining and get the mods which isnt the right state of mind imo

yes idk about the adult thing

Makes sense. Complain until you get what you want. Throw a tantrum, that will totally help.

Game is actively being patched. the chances are once the next patch drops any save file made with your modded game might just explode in crashes. I would never use a mod unless the game version was rather stable for a long length of time. Or don't cry when your saved game with a new patch crashes all over the place. Which folks will then turn around and say the New patch broke their game. No, you broke your game by running a mod that works with old version with a new patch.

If you want your brand new game that supports modding to work better you will download the mods to help alleviate the issues you're having. If you want to wait for a patch from the devs that's fine too. There is no grey area right now.

yes this is one of the reasons why i dont like it when people tell other to stop complaining and just get mods on a game being heavily worked on since it can ruin their game

Literally takes 5 seconds to download and extract to folder the vast majority of mods for this game. The game becomes 100% better especially with the A-Life mods such as Shays Living Zone.

Except that mods are absolutely helpful in partially correcting or even eliminating most people's issues.
