F-1 grenades
Is there a reason for them to be this rare? I cleared roughly 75% of the map and I only have 33 of them in my stash while I literally throw away RGDs in dozens. Damage and radius wise there's not much of a difference so what gives?

I mean, think about location, and then ask yourself why would we see lots more of the Russian made grenade, than the American made one?

Seems pretty obvious that from a logistic standpoint that the RGD would be more wildly available, and supplied to the zone from a more local source.

Both F-1 and RGD are russian made grenades what differs is just their intended battlefield roles. So I would like to ask you how is RGD more locally sourced than F-1?

Never mind then.

because it is the grenade that sucks less, so gotta make sure it isn't as common for MMO reasons.

or the secret mercy reason. Because weak baby grenades are super light, while finding a few pineapples will add whole pounds of weight that might put you into yellow/red. So if they were common loot you would be gaining weight faster than stealing guns for less cash value.

So yeah. it is dumb in both directions of fake difficulty if you enjoy using them without buying more, and "This is actually to make your looting overall smoother while tricking you into thinking it is 'hardcore scarcity'"

F-1 an american grenade? Huuuuuuuh? It's french, "cloned" by russians after WW2. Probably most mass produced grenade today, given situation in the world. I think you confuse it with something else.

I think he was just talking out his rear end with a preconceived notion that the F1 was American while the RGD was Russian.

Yeah I did, since it looks the similar to the M1 frag grenade. A mere mix up of the M1 and F1.

Anyway, I responded never mind due to that mix up as soon as it was pointed out that I messed up, lets move on.

Too late, you already dereailed the topic.

Topic is now about putting Pineapple grenades on Canadian Bacon and cheese pizza

I personally say chalk it up to the typical American bias of thinking the world revolves around us (which I normally avoid compared to my fellow Americans), and move on. Thou in this case it is a bit understandable, 2 grenades with the same shape and outer pineapple design, with the only real visual difference being a different pin/lever release, and a single letter the difference in name.

There are a lot of cases where the difference between a French and American design is about the difference between my left and right testicle. The one is usually just slightly larger.

Yeah google is great, isnt it.
Love people being sassy for no reason whatsoever. No, knowledge of WWI. And besides, you'll be surprised how much stuff Soviet Union cloned from the West. It's debated till this day whether AK platform is STG-44 cloned.
