can you stealth in an exosuit?

just got my hands on the liberty exo, looking at the stats and upgrades it seems superior to my old suit in every way, but like theres gotta be a downside right? like the big stompy sound you make must make stealth a no-go with it right?

Or is the only negative the repair cost?

from I saw there is no effect on stealth when wearing exosuit
as for repair cost don't add upgrades you don't need, like thermo/acid/electro protections
more upgrades you add - more you pay for the repairs

I too stealthed a whole merc group just fine with my exosuit in the cooling towers area. Sneaked in from the other side of the building and picked them out one by one. The last guy did notice something is wrong (sloppy me ) But he just walked aimlessly around between his buddies while I was switching position constantly.

Use the search about that - exosuits can be upgraded accordingly. Only one can't.
