Spitter orBuket S2

People said a lot about Spitter but I do not see what make it is superior when compare to Buket S2. Can anyone give me an advice?

I don't have it yet, and all the copy/past clickbait articles refuse to give any details but "Wow! Unique gun = good! Oh wow it has different traits than normal, wow!!!!"

But at a glance at the pictures, it LOOKS like it has a silencer by default? But while clickbait is worthless, google turned up steam chat complaining that the spitter can NOT use a silencer (While also lamenting how bugged attachment upgrades are on the bucket).

God. When will the game journalists hit the point of copy/pasting upgrade trees instead of copy/pasting base stat meters and loot locations?

Speshul/named weapons are simply already upgraded regular weapons

Last time I checked you could not put a silencer on Spitter, obviously. Spitter's silencer doesn't come with a noticeable range increase as a silencer does when attached on Buket.
Mb a bug or an oversight. For me a fully upgraded Spitter is worse than a fully upgraded Buket.

Buket is better, you know the game puts the weapon stats side by side when you wanna equip a new one, right ? Just pick the one with the higher stats

Buket has some extra upgrades I tried to upgrade both identically.
Don't mind mag size. I only had one. It can also go on Spitter.


As you can see Spitter could be a different version of Buket with more precision and less penetration but the devs forgot to give Spitter the range upgrade coming from having a silencer installed.

EDIT:
I went into a rabbit hole. Found a bug.
You can actually install a muzzle brake on Buket, making it heavier than Spitter.
But, you CAN still attach a silencer on top, somehow making Buket lighter and overall better than Spitter.

For 9x18 ammo just us APSB pistol
You can add red dot sight, silencer and later high capacity mag
Making APSB from 19 ammo to 31, turning it from pistol to compact submachine gun

Unless if there is a hidden stat like some kind of crit chance or bleed chance I don't see how Spitter can best Buket. In the beginning when you don't have access to all the attachments, money and technicians the Spitter might be OK.

The shotgun with a magazine you get on the mainquest in the garbage is enough to pull you trough the game.

Why the heck in the same chest is there a flash drive whose description states "it contains blueprints for a weapon upgrade", except it doesn't?
