Beard is gone!

Hey guys, I have reached the Zaton region, on the Shevchenko.

I was able to interact with him and do a mission for him, but since, the guy have disapeard! Multiple in game days now, I have restarted the game and decided not to pay too much attention to it.

However, I now have to do a mission that task me to find some Ward escapees and I am supposed to ask Beard if he haven't seen them, but Beard is still missing, is this normal?

go to Sultansk (other ship) and talk with woman in the bar, there is a sidequest probably you need to complete.
