Please add Denuvo!
Me personally never faced any problems with DRM games, the only problem I see with Denuvo is a lot of whining from pirates on forums. At the moment I don't see DRM support on Steam page but I really hope GSC will not forget to add Denuvo to prevent piracy (yes, I'm talking about russians who openly threaten Devs, stole and published early build of game and openly claim they will pirate game as soon it be released).
I don't know the cost of implementation of DRM but If there is a discussion "to add or not to add" be sure as a big fan of Stalker series I will only support Denuvo in Stalker 2! Games like Hi-Fi Rush proved that proper Denuvo implementation will only help with sales

Denuvo reduces performance for legit players, modern DRM is a cancer in the gaming industry.

I think nowadays DRM doesn't affect performance so much as it was before. Hi-Fi RUSH, Dead Space (2023), Need for Speed™ Unbound, CoH3, Far Cry 6, AC Valhalla and many many more. They have good performance and good sales.

Denuvo doesn't equal to no piracy at all.
It's harder? Yes, but not impossible.
And can still tank performance, specially with open worlds.
So yeah, I don't see a point on adding it.
If all, not having it save the devs. some problems.

What is your setup?

There is a video comparison of games With and Without DRM.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcyOJ4Dxs7E
Result: Denuvo impacts only initial loading time. Average FPS drops less than 1%.
So if you have SSD(which is part of min. requirements) there is no difference at all. That's why you guys can stop speculating on those Denuvo myths which exists only because of pirates who whines because they can't steal a game.

There is no trolling at all. I think real fans and devs just tired from piracy. I mean, if people ready to donate hackers to crack the game instead of buying product to support developers... it clearly shows industry need to do something with pirates. And looks like Denuvo is the best option. Lies of P - fresh release with DRM and perfect performance, so what is the problem? (spoiler: it's problem only for pirates obviously)

I grabbed every single one these games on release and still have those very same boxed copies on my shelf, I think that would make me a "real fan" ? Let me tell you, as a real fan I wouldn't want to see the "D" of Denuvo touching this product, what now?

Meanwhile you didn't even buy this game which you're so defensive about :steambored:

Please, show proofs how it affects performance and average FPS? At least comparison videos or something else, because "performance loss" looks like a bunch on myths without any proofs. Last time I had problems with DRM was in 2011 with AC2. Since then no problems at all. Nowadays DRM present in almost each new game and nobody except pirates whining about it.
Considering threats to devs, stolen build and open claims to pirate game as soon at be released I think Denuvo implementation is more than justified.

^ This.

People read gaming articles written by clueless nobodies and join the bandwagon without thinking for themselves. Can't wait to hear "Russian Hackers!" when the game gets delayed yet again due to internal conflicts.

Devs were threatened and blackmailed than their early build was stolen and published. Doesn't it enough? How many game devs were in same circumstances? How many early builds were stolen from other devs by pirates? In such conditions Denuvo implementations is more than justified! As "real fan who bought every game on release" you should understand this, right? It's really no so complicated. Also as a "real fan" you would wish devs will not go bankrupt after release, right? Denuvo will help with it.

Do you really think when Kyiv was bombed by russian missiles it didn't affect development? Do you even know that half of the team was relocated in another county because of war? Do you think it doesn't affect development? Lol, in which bubble do you live, buddy?

Cool story, and how do you explain away the delays before the war? Russian mind control beams scrambling developers' brains, making them unable to make progress? Dang, I guess it was Russians who made them add NFTs too? Oh! The first game was also delayed for years and years, it must have been Russian spies then, constantly erasing progress via highly advanced, undetectable beams!

Get real, stop this laughable worshipping and face the facts.

Respectfully, I don't think you know what you're talking about and you want Denuvo in the game to address issues based on lies. Denuvo might be strong now but it's only a matter of time till it's rendered useless, I don't encourage cracking games either.
Devs claimed it was stolen I more believe them not some random russian dudes who are always lying and manipulating. Also stolen build appeared on russian torrents first it was just a coincidence, right? So my not dear russian friend "stalker 2010", you are just straight forward lying, as all russians do btw. I also monitored their video games related media and streamers and for some reason they were very HYPED and doomed the game right after build was stolen, so it's clear to me what happened.
