There is always a chance the saves get screwed up when using mods and or in other ways manipulate the game files.....
A new clean start would probably solve the issue.
Uninstalling the Game AND Clearing out this folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\Stalker2\Saved exept for the Steam Save Backups (unless your 100% sure your Cloud Saves are o.k.)
That should get rid of anything related to the previous install, and you have to go trough the games setup again after ReInstalling as it wil be all set to default.
Highly recomended wen you Upgraded your GPU.
So I delete the engine.ini file this morning, booted up the game, beat Faust (again) and the game progressed normally after that without any issues. Now, I don't know if that actually was the fix. Maybe clearing the shader cache and changing settings followed with a full reboot did the trick. Hope this helps some of you that are facing the same issue.
Dopio Brando, sorry brother, that really sucks. Hope GSC can fix this issue for all of us ASAP.
hmm, weird, i would expect it to crash during teleporting (wich is basicly nothing else than a loading screen) and be fine after that.
