1.3 Update size issues
So, how much space do I actually need to update? Steam says it's about 450GB needed. I'd have to delete almost every single game just to make space for that.

And Inventotry now sucks even more, they removed the Auto select next on X when looting Bodies. You now have to move the manually to each item. It also crashed on looting. I didn't want 1.3 but Steam forced it on me, now Game is more broken than before. lol

Yes it's big and you can't skip to play, you are forced to download it.
If you had mods installed wen the Update happened than that mighht screw things up.

The Patch Download is only 45GB, maybe you changed something on the Downloads display or you mis read it.
steam check the prevus install
and after that update for those juicie 46 Gb update
try to unnstall and re install .... is a big patch after all change a lot ... still no monster loot
Deleting the Shader Cache might do the trick.

Just saw that apart of the now missing Auto-next while looting my Inventory got corrupted.
There are empty Spots where i can't move stuff to and the Sorting is borked.
Reloading didn't help, older Saves also not. I happens on Autosorting, with LB and then stays that way. But yeah the missing Auto-next when looting with X sucks, i hope there gonna be a Mod because always hold X to loot all sucks, it was so convenient before.

that 400+GB is odd for me it was about 280+GB

It was 118gb download for me. Uninstalled it because at this point I'd cost me another ssd with their stupid sizedpatches lmao
Guys the patch is NOT increasing the size of the game on your drive. First off many things are fixes not additions if you READ the change log. So in fixes yes they are touching nearly every single file in the game.
As for how large Steam says the update is, it is Steam do not rely on that. Just install the update. Sadly Steam does not like Unreal Games or the fact that Unreal is also Epic Game Store.
I see this conversation repeated in nearly every Early Access game I own because people do not educate themselves with facts they fall in behind the first uneducated person and it spreads like a wild fire.

That's what Steam says after it finished. It was on v1.2.1 before this latest patch. I have no idea why they would have that much difference.

Unreal Engine problem, bad choice from the Devs.

Uninstall the Game, Trim the SSD, and Reininstall it, that should gaive you the least wear and tear.

But most SSD's can handle a lot of read/write acctions before something fails, so i doubt that this game is gonna break a sector on your SSD, unless you bought a really cheap one.
