first impressions

I bought this game on the sale that's going on and I don't know how impressed I am so far at about 90 minutes in.

I've come across 2 or 3 squads so far and the enemy AI seems to have broken on each and they were just kinda standing around.
But I can feel the potential that this setting and the mechanics have.

Did I just get unlucky? should I push through? or should I refund and wait for a deeper sale and/or bugfixes?

The game starts at 30h in at Garbage area...
But yeah u cant hide behind bushes, habe to find cover behind rocks etc solid materials
