Personally I'm surprised that game developers haven't yet started using AI to generate more varied quests and missions. Main storylines should always be hand-crafted, I think, but surely AI is the next logical step for "Radiant AI" type quests?
Repeatable quests, in my opinion, should be reserved for freeplay after finishing the campaign.
I'm sure that if GSC has implemented "Radiant"-type repeatable missions in STALKER 2, they're optional and you don't have to accept them, and that such missions are just a source of income if you fail to manage your resources properly.
