I'm a bit confused about the specific effects of the endurance artifact
What specific effect does the endurance of the artifact increase?
Is it to increase endurance recovery speed or reduce endurance consumption?

Seems to increase endurance recovery from what I could see, and 2 thunderberries do in fact stack, the endurance recovery is quicker with both so endurance effects do continue after "maximum"

It increases the RECOVERY RATE of your Endurance. With two Thunderberry equipped (they stack), I can very very clearly see my Endurance recover quite quickly after a sprint.
Found this online: Endurance, as seen in Artifact descriptions, affects both stamina drain and stamina recovery. You can find the stamina meter below the health bar on the bottom-left corner of the screen.

By default, it takes 5 seconds to drain one stamina bar and 4 seconds for it to recover. Equipping Artifacts with Endurance effects reduces these durations.

As far as what "Maximum" means on an artifact, it means the maximum amount that a single artifact can give you. It does not mean that maximum amount that your character can benefit from.

if there are such hard-caps, for example a hard-cap on the players ability to recover Endurance, the game does not appear to give us any visible indication of what those caps might be. One could ask the question, is it possible to achieve 100%+ immunity to a particular damage type? From a game design perspective, the developers could very well judge that allowing a player to become completely immune to a particular type of damage could hurt game balance, but we don't know what such caps might exist. Modders exploring the game's scripts would likely be the place we would discover such caps.

The problem with this description is that by using sprint as the measuring bar, they need to take into account that as soon as stamina is less than 100%, the RECOVERY begins, so the rate of emptying might not affected, its just that sprinting is both cost and recovery and if the recovery is higher then you can sprint longer even though the "cost" of sprinting isn't changed.

Jumping would be a better test: If you jump, how much stamina does it cost? If you have a Thunderberry, does the cost of a jump change?

There are stat caps, one is very visible--weight limit that can not be pushed above 140kg by any combination of artifacts and/or meds.

It is interesting to see that maximum bonus can stack from multiple of the same artifact. I would much appreciate if the bars or words were replaced by values that would give us better understanding how things work.

I test with 2 Crown , both wear artifact or not the knife and jump cost is the same. It seems the artifact endurance only change the recovery rate:neonshoked:
