Good ones till mid game- AKM from side mission with scope, UDP fully modded and silenced, m860 cracker.
Enemies dropping like flies.
In the side note its a game, enemies dont drop from 1 bulllet and neither do you- 100th of med kita make u actually invincible.
ARMA and other war simus if u lile 1 shot games...
Or just do the double-tap, works really well with silenced pistols.
+ Armor is a thing.......... go AP.
Integral-A is an awesome weapon for AP.
Head shots kill beautifully in this game and I think it is modelled very well.
I shot an npc in the head with my original silenced pistol from about 30 metres yesterday, he was wearing head armour and the first shot didn't kill him, nor the second, just sparks.
Similarly clad npc shortly afterwards I thought nope, didn't work last time, so I took careful aim with my AK. Nice spray of blood, dead one shot.
Both shots were taken using the apparently broken stealth approach.
Dont get to attacked to AP thou, i tested things out with expanding and AP ammo. I dont know how it works with 3D model visuals, do enemies with helmets have armor or just visual. Cause i shoot a bald guy in the head with regular 45 bullet, he died in 2 shots, loaded back, used AP 45 ammo, it took 4. The guy had no head protection and was bald. And in some cases using expanding ammo kills visually armored targets faster then regular ammo, the ammo made for 0 armor.
Just some info.
If enemies play the bow down animation you have hit, but did not enough damage.
And don't forget that range is important too, dmg falloff is extreme in this game. So even if you land a clear headshot, but being out of optimal range, it won't hurt much.
Also there seem to be some issues with obstacles/edges - e.g. when leaning you might shoot the wall without recognizing it. Or a decoration tree that is suddenly for real ;)
If Monolithian in same heavy helmet do spot player - he needs 2 shots in the head to die.
Its lame. VSS should be able to 1-shot any head, especially if its a face-shot no matter if enemy spotted you or not.
I would give props to the NPC for surviving VSS headshot, but when he takes a SVD hit to the head now thats bs.
